Peter Frankl is one of the world's greatest pianists. These concerts are part of his 75th Birthday World Tour. Saturday's program includes three grand piano sonatas; by Haydn, Mozart's in D major, and Beethoven's last, No. 32 in C minor, opus. 111, as well as the three Bartok rondos. On Sunday Peter will be in more romantic mood with the two Brahms Rhapsodies op.79, and Schumann's Fantaisiestucke op.12. The second half will be all Chopin; two Nocturnes op. 55, 4 Impromptus and the Scherzo in B minor op.20.
