The Afiara is the graduate quartet of the Juilliard School, following their renowned predecessors, the Juilliard Quartet. They receive rave reviews for their concerts in America. The Quartet won top prizes at the Munich International Music Competition and the Banff International String Quartet Competition. They have appeared at leading venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall's Weill recital Hall and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. For our concerts they will perform string quartets by Haydn, Dvorak, Beethoven, Carl Nielsen and Sibelius.
