House a musicianIf you have a hotel, vacation rental or even a spare room in your home that you could donate for musicians’ lodging, even if for only one night, this is a vital contribution that not only helps us, but also offers you the opportunity to get to know visiting artists on a personal basis. In return for housing you receive complimentary concert tickets. Host a supper or a cocktail partyWe hold approximately twelve suppers a year in private homes after our concerts when our Patron Members sit down for supper with the artists. These are wonderful opportunities to socialize, meet fellow music lovers and get to know the musicians. Sometimes they even play something at a supper!
There are also opportunities for hosting cocktail parties after concerts. If you can accommodate 30 to 40 people in your home for such an event and serve canapés and wine we can offer a benefits package in return. Become an active volunteerWe need reliable volunteers to be involved in organizing and staging our concerts. We are conscious that most of us are busy people and Pro Musica has a variety of tasks, big and small, to suit your time availability. Advertising sponsorships must be gathered, promotional materials distributed, musicians must be transported, and a thousand little tasks performed behind the scenes to make each season a success. We currently have vacancies in many areas and particularly for a bookkeeper. If you have some free time on your hands, and would like to get involved, we need you!
