OUR MISSION:

PM is a not-for-profit organization that provides the San Miguel community with exceptional performances from the Chamber music repetoire from the baroque era to the present day while fostering understanding and appreciation of the art form.  Our concerts encompass a wide range of artists from pianists through string quartets to harpsichord

HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED?
You can play a significant role by sponsoring a performance, concert series or major initiative of ProMusica by:

PATRON MEMBERSHIP
PM receives no government or other public funding. We depend on ticket sales, our Patron Members and the participation and support of the community, local and international service providers, airlines, individuals and associations to make these concerts possible. All SMPM organizers are unpaid volunteers who contribute their time and efforts to bring first class performances to the San Miguel de Allende community.

Patron Members are our key financial supporters who allow us to pay competitive fees tour artists and without whom we could not maintain the quality of our performances.

Patron Members contribute between $100 and $5,000 in one of four different membership categories. We want to be sure that your experience as a SMPM Member is rich and rewarding. In return for your generosity, you will receive benefits and privileges designed to bring you closer to the music you so much enjoy.

ADVERTISE WITH US
Advertising revenues go toward expenses such airline tickets and other transportation expenses for musicians and support personnel, for printing costs, publicity expenses, equipment rentals and administrative and legal costs. Buying advertising in the SMPM Concert Program or on our webpage, contributes directly to the quality of the audience experience.

SPONSOR A MUSCIAN
If you have a hotel, vacation rental lodging or even a spare room at your home that you could donate for musicians’ lodging at some point, even if for only one night, this is a vital area of participation that affords you the opportunity be of more personal help to the musicians and participants in our events.

 

COMMISSION FOR A MEXICAN COMPOSER
Pro Musica supports Mexican composers by:

1. Commissioning works.
2. Premiering their finished compositions for the San Miguel public.
3. Working toward the publication and recording of these commissioned works.

Grants from $1,000USD upwards for this purpose will be very welcome.  At this level you will be personally involved with the composer whose work you commission.  You will experience the creative and performing process in an intimate way not otherwise available.

PLEDGE A CONCERT VENUE
SMPM is always looking for new and interesting venues for concerts large and small.  If you have a public venue, or beautiful home, restaurant or other large space that you believe would be suitable as a ProMusica venue, please contact us. 

BECOME AN ACTIVE VOLUNTEER
We need reliable volunteers to be involved in organising and staging our concerts.  We are conscious that most of us are busy people and we have a variety of tasks, big and small to suit your time availability.  Advertising sponsorships must be gathered, promotional materials distributed, musicians must be transported, and a thousand little tasks performed behind the scenes to make each season a success. If you have some free time on your hands, and would like to get involved, we need you!
 
HELP US PLAN TODAY FOR PROMUSICA’S FUTURE
Planned Giving provides a unique opportunity to arrange your future support for ProMusica now by designating a future gift through a variety of provisions such as: Bequest by means of your Will, Charitable Gift Annuity, Gift through your Life Insurance policy, Charitable Trust, your Retirement Fund, or a Gift of Real Estate.  In ceratin cases your gift will b tax deductible.  If you would like to arrange your Planned Giving Support, our President would be pleased to meet with you to discuss the opportunities available.   

PRO-MUSICA ENDOWMENT
ProMusica gratefully recognizes those individuals, foundations, and corporations whose vision and exceptional support of an Endowment Fund will help to ensure a firm financial base for SMPM's continued artistic excellence. The Endowment fund will help to enable us to engage artists of the highest caliber for our concerts while keep our ticket prices reasonable.  As with all endowments the principal will remain protected and only the investment income will be used to further our aims   If you are interested in the SMPM Endowment Fund please contact our President.
